DOT Clan League Power 5, Week 2:
Too Cold climbs as No Love, and 777 Tumble
This week’s edition sees a lot of fluctuation in the clans positions as we have some strong risers and some heavy sinkers. On one hand, we have some of the hottest clans from the first few weeks fall into a slump this past week, most notably No Love and Triple Seven. On the other hand, some unheralded clans have soared to unexpected heights like Frontline. As such, let’s take a look at how each clan fared throughout the past week.
Now without further ado, let’s look at our GCL Power Rankings entering Week 3 of the new season.
1. Too Cold (+3)
Too Cold finally got to play a battle after receiving a forfeit win for week #1. Their leadership team has helped them get off to a strong start. They have some of the best players in the league, most notably Liesss TC who posted a record of 6-3 against Top 5.
2. Category Four (+1)
Category Four arguably the best overall clan since they did play two official matches. They won 15-2 against Too Grimey, a clan depleted of their talent after a week one loss . Players like Cbus and Kesto used this week to farm their stats for the GCL MVP race.
3. Top 5 (-2)
Top 5 slide down two spots after ending week two with a loss to Too Cold. Don’t let that fool you, Top 5 is still considered a top 3 team. Shots put the league on notice and showed he can compete with anyone.
4. Frontline (+3)
Frontline is one of the high risers in my power five. That should not be too shocking since they have won both their battles. They also had a very favorable schedule playing the likes of ZFG and MT. Will Flumeezy continue to put up stats when he plays against the big dogs?
5. No Ducking (+3)
No Ducking remains among the most exciting clans to watch this season, though that does not necessarily mean they’ll win every game they play. vAlex ND and Dinero ND dominated No Love and showed there on another Level compared to No Love guards, will ND find a 3rd guard to take them to the next level.
